If you want to see lasting change, you can’t just expect to pick up a new habit and have it take effect immediately. Habits need time to form, they need to have a driving force, and they need your commitment.
One of the major issues that so many face when trying to improve their life or business is by changing things that are happening outside of themselves. They try to develop ways; they try to focus on positive thinking, like attracts like, they concentrate on developing winning circles, and while all that will massively help, it’s not the area that needs development.
For you to try and change your life, career or business simply by focusing on whats happening outside of you will be as effective as you trying to change your reflection in a mirror with changing your actual appearance. Nothing is going to happen!
Work on yourself, find the issues within and work on them. Once you have mastered them, then you’re ready to move to the right circles.
We are creatures of habit, so learn what habits are causing the issues and work on developing new ones. I often refer to this as the 20/80 rule, like the 80/20 rule (Pareto Principle) but reversed. This means that 20% of the things you’re doing is causing 80% of the problems, change the 20% and you see a massive difference in your life.
Start today, write a list of everything that you’re doing, or wish to change and then actively work on improving them.
Have fun, and if you need a hand, give me a shout.
