Before I continue let me explain what a sales stack is, sales today is a competitive playground and one tool is no longer enough to dominate the schoolyard.
The modern sales team uses several sales software tools that are designed to improve productivity and decision-making, automate tasks that are repetitive and help to increase your sales process. This form of tech is what is often referred to as a sales stack.
Obviously not every sale steam runs this kind of artillery, and if that’s you or your company ask me how, and we can get you set up with this.
Not all sales teams are created equal, nor are the sales stack, in today’s podcast I share with you the stack that I am using this year.
HUBSPOT:
So right out of the gate is my favourite CRM, Hubspot. You can grab a FREE version of this or the paid version comes in at $50 a seat. The $50 is worth every penny for ambitious growing businesses, but certainly start with the free version, you will not find anything better on the market.
MAILCHIMP:
Email still rules, with the average open rate still being close to 20%, email dwarfs social and pretty much any other form of outreach. Mailchimp is the way forward for me in 2018 and frankly has been pretty much since its inception.
ZAPIER:
Remove double entry with zappers automation tools, add your date in one place and let Zapier fill in the blanks on all your other platforms or software.
ZOHO SOCIAL:
Be sure you have omnipresence, with Zoho Social. This super smart and sleek social media management tool is a must, and compared to most other platforms leads considerably in usability.
TODOIST:
Never miss a beat with the ultimate To Do list app, I have mine hooked up with another automation kit called IFFT. So I can tell Siri on my iPhone to remind me to do something, and IFFT will ensure its added to my to-do list and reminds me until it is completed.
ASANA:
Planning your social media and marketing content shouldn’t be left to scraps of paper, with Asana you have a really great piece of software that can help to give you complete clarity over the coming week, month or year. Also great if you collaborate with teams.
GSUITE/GMAIL:
I’m a big fan of Google for business, it goes where I go and never fails you. Power up your email with Gmail for business and dial into Googles bulletproof email, the app is pretty sweet too.
QUICKBOOKS / XERO:
You’ve gotta to stay on top of your numbers, and a good accounting piece of software is the way to go. I am however considering making a change back to Xero. So check them both out…
Also, I cant forget important kits such as Google Drive and Dropbox, Calm the meditation app I use daily, seven for my 7-minute workouts, and things like booking.com app and Uber.
Give it a try and streamline your sales stack.
