Identify your negative thoughts:
- Start paying attention to your thoughts and write down any negative ones that come up.
- Start being more aware of the thoughts that run through your mind throughout the day.
- When you notice a negative thought, take a moment to write it down. This can help you see the thought more objectively.
- Look for patterns in your negative thoughts. Are there certain situations or people that trigger negative thoughts more often?
- Write down the specific negative thought and try to identify the underlying belief or assumption that is driving it.
- Once you have identified your negative thoughts, challenge them. Ask yourself if they are based on facts or assumptions and whether they are helping or hindering you.
I also created a checklist workbook to mark off each lesson.
This will help to give you a daily reminder to spend time working on yourself and helps to form positive habits, which is very important!
