Every top CEO, Managing Director and world leader share one common trait, and its not the ability to inspire others, get creative, or build a power team. (Although these are great traits) The one habit all great leaders have is the habit of taking action.
Without taking action, the inspiration wouldn’t be there, the creative juices would never start flowing or the power team just would not get started. Although a simple concept, there is a huge shortage of the ACTION gene circulating.
Nothing supersedes the massive potential that taking ACTION provides, not your intelligence, nor your natural talent. Without action, nothing can materialise.

Once you realise how fundamental the ACTION gene is to greater success in life and business, the sooner you will want to wake it up. Here are my 5 top tips to reaching inside and stirring the ACTION gene to create a new action driven habit.
1. Be right here, right now.
Don’t lose yourself thinking about what you should have done last week, or even things you could have done differently. Focus on what you can do right here, right now, the only thing you can actually change is the present, you usually find that later, tomorrow or next week usually turns in to never.
2. Cure the fear with action.
Lots of the time we fear the unknown, but the only way we can grow is by challenging it. You was once fearful of driving a car, but now do it effortlessly. Once you get started and start building momentum, things start to become easier and you build confidence. Crush the fear by constantly taking action.
3. Perfect conditions never arrive.
The timing will never be perfect, you will never have enough money and something will always be pulling you in the opposite direction. If you are waiting for the ideal conditions, you will be waiting for a very long time. The best time to start is right NOW.
4. Intention always loses to action.
Having a great idea is important, but one mediocre idea thats been given action is better than lots of great ideas thats been stockpiled for the perfect timing. You may have the best of intentions to get started, but intentions don’t bring success, ACTION does.
5. Be a starter, not a dreamer.
Instead of thinking about great ideas, start doing them. The longer the idea is left with no action, the weaker it becomes. Get the ideas out of you head and on to paper, then immediately start on taking action to move them forward.
When you get an idea that you genuinely believe in, then its your obligation to do something about it. If you don’t take ACTION then it will never get started.
