What we can learn from Star Wars!

Hands up if you’re a fan of Star Wars? I grew up on Star Wars, and still to this day love the film(s). So when I first heard a new film was being released, I admit I was a little excited.

And I wasn’t disappointed! But, I’m not here to give you a ‘Barry Norman’ film review. What I want to share with you is something that I have been saying for quite some time!

Whenever you turn the TV on, there’s something Star Wars related, the radio, the paper, light sabers on Facebook profiles, toys galore and every shop you visit has gone Star Wars crazy too (no matter what shop you visit).

The billboards, t-shirts, mugs, pens, even Nelson’s Column Trafalgar Square in central London was turned in to a giant lightsaber.

You could not escape the Star Wars exposure, whether you’re a fan or not.

It was everywhere!!

Which is what I have discussed with clients, and groups for a long time!

YOU NEED TO DOMINATE!
And what Star Wars has done is complete domination! Star Wars wasn’t competing for eyes on them, they demanded eyes on them, because you simply couldn’t escape it.

They 100% dominated every playground available, and subsequently smashed box office records for the film, and are set to net $6bn from sales of merchandise and film sales.

So here’s my message once again, ‘Losers Compete, Winners Dominate’. (Get the wristbands here)
